We offer a full program of fertilization and weed/insect/disease management for your lawn as well both partial and 100% ORGANIC alternatives.
Our professional staff is fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and offers a wealth of experience to better cater to the particular needs of your lawn. Each of our technicians has at least 5 years of experience in lawn care and would be more than happy to answer any questions.

Below is a detailed account of our six application program designed to bring the very best out of your lawn.

SPRING application.
This is a balanced fertilizer designed to promote root development and provide an early spring 'green up' of your lawn. It also includes a pre-emergent crabgrass control and a broadleaf weed control.
EARLY SUMMER application.
Another well balanced fertilization with broad leaf weed control. We also include a second dose of pre-emergent crabgrass control which prolongs the effect and provides season long protection. Surface insect control is applied only where appropriate.
SUMMER application.
This is a slow release fertilizer appropriate to the current weather conditions. In addition, surface insect control and weed control are applied as needed.
LATE SUMMER/EARLY FALL application.
This balanced fertilization is designed to develop roots and build carbohydrates in turf grasses. Insect and weed control will be applied only as needed.
FALL application.
The final fertilization of the season promotes color, root development and tillering. It thickens the lawn and helps to 'harden' plants for the winter.
LIME application.
This will raise the pH of the soil and consequently reduce the acidity. We include this as part of our regular program due to the highly acidic nature of the soils in this region. It is usually applied when appropriate to the lawn, contingent upon the technicians opinion.

This program begins in april and applications are usually spaced 5-6 weeks apart (with the exception of the lime application which takes place alongside one of the applications).

We also recommend a GRUB CONTROL application.

Unlike some of our competitors we don't include grub control as part of our regular program because not everyone believes it is essential. Although there is no guarantee that you will have a grub problem, should you go unprotected and suffer an infestation the resulting damage could be extensive. Although the majority of our customers receive a grub control application, we prefer to offer our advice and leave the choice to each individual customer.

This application is usually put down late june through early august and is 'guaranteed' to prevent grub damage. (Please ask about our 'second to none' guarantees).
